China: Government Tightens Regulation of E-Cigarettes

On October 30, 2019, China’s State Tobacco Monopoly Administration (STMA, also known as China Tobacco) and the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) jointly issued the Circular on Further Protecting Minors from the Harm of E-cigarettes, which urges the industry to stop selling and advertising e-cigarettes online to prevent minors from obtaining them.
